General Description
The site of the Walton Family Cemetery in Griswold, Connecticut, which is now occupied by the Greer Sand and Gravel Co. is the findspot of the only physical evidence of belief in vampirism in New England. This evidence was excavated by Dr. Nicholas Bellantoni, Connecticut State Archaeologist in 1990.
